Chicken breast with kebab spices and lime. Versione italiana. This recipe is very fast and allows you to obtain a slightly particular variant compared to the classic pan-cooked chicken breast, simple or with lemon. You have to be careful to marinate it with spices and lime for at least 4 hours, but you can also prepare it in the morning for the evening.

After that, cooking is really fast and can be served with any vegetable side dish for a light but nutritious dinner. The fact that it is marinated in lime also assure that the chicken breast tend to remain softer, even if not floured. This way you won’t get the classic dry and stringy grilled chicken, which is often not pleasant to eat.

Chicken breast with kebab spices and lime

Ingredients: (4 peolple)

  • 600g sliced chicken breast
  • 1 Tbsp kebab spices (lessen for a less spicy version)
  • 3 Tbsp lime juice
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • Salt

Directions:

  1. Start by cutting the chicken breast slices into strips. This will cause them to acquire more flavor from the marinade and also to cook faster later.
  2. Then place the chicken in a bowl, add the kebab spices and lime. Mix well, so that all the chicken is well coated with the marinade.
  3. Cover with cling film or the appropriate lid and then let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours. You can also leave it for up to 12 hours, preparing it in the morning for the evening.
  4. At the time of cooking, heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan, then add the chicken well drained from the marinade.
  5. Brown well on all sides for 3-4 minutes over high heat. Then lower the heat and add the marinade, let it consume for a few minutes so that it is not too liquid and then season with salt if necessary and serve hot. Certain spices for kebabs are already full of salt, so check carefully before adding more.
